Register your cat’s microchip number in case they get lost. There is a free site for basic registration.

Keep an eye on your cat as it adjusts to you home. Their behavior may be caused by stress of the transition. If you cat seems timid, approach slowly and allow your cat to come to you. If energetic, engage your kitty with various toys such as wands, balls, kicker toy, etc.
